Yeah... I just got done playing some more and it is very entertaining... but I am really hoping to see some sort of Grav Gun only server/mod (don't know if you can do it currently)... I am getting tired of exchanging filing cabinets with a person only to get shotgunned in the back or something... but with only grav guns it would be SOOOOOOO awesome.

Dang, I couldn't even log into my Steam account there for a minute. Comcast Internet has really been crappy lately so they are going to have to pay for my bill this month.

Yeah I played this last night for about an hour before going to bed. Its really fun

Its going to get boring real fast because there isnt really a lot to do, but it shows that the game has a lot of potential for MP. And I can see how the grav gun can be a bit unbalanced when there is sufficient "ammunition" in the room. Most of the guns are quite terrible, but the grav gun can kill with one hit from almost any object.

Oh! Someone has to copy over the maps from that HL2 DM mod that someone made! There were 2 maps. That one huge map was really cool, and the other would just be a total slaughter because its a square room full of cinder blocks and barrels.

We have to get these maps distributed for the official mod. I'll probably copy them over to my HL2DM folder to see if they work later.

I am amazed at the quality of maps matched that of single player game. I find it much more fun than original Half Life deathmatch. It ran very well with 1Mb cable upgraded for free today.

Ran fine on my 3mbit DSL line today Anyways...I love it. It's great. Limited, but awesome. It obviously needs more options and modes, but it's a great start and it axes one of the two complaints about the game. ( lack of story and lack of mp)

This is a fine example to a developer who wants to please their customers. Crytek need take notes, waiting for that 1.3 patch which had half the goodies promised, taken out, was ridiculous.

hopefully it will introduce more catagories of play,.. i felt deathmatch was kinda pointless being it was really limited right now to 2 maps and lag.....

Played it for about 2 hours this afternoon. I am very impressed. It's everything that I thought it would be plus more. The maps need to be WAY bigger. I liked to make barricades in the prison level; peeps get pissed! Hope to see you guys around online. Watch out! IT's a flying toilet!

Man this mod is great... When the server is running well I really own

I was 67\23 on a full 18 person server on the lockdown map (second person was 36\34).

Oh yeah, if you want easy kills, sit in the little room with the power plug and just hold it... any time anyone comes into view, fire the plug near them and the cord will kill them instantly. It can kill you too, but that doesnt happen too often.

Also, I want to make a map that has dozens upon dozens of explosive barrels that respawn quickly. They are soooo much fun! Those and the small heavy objects (monitors, cinder blocks, pieces of concrete, little metal boxes, toilets, sinks) are by far the best weapons in the game.

I cant wait till there are more maps for this. This is a VERY fun mod

lol @ the plug. I did that once by accident. Took out 3 guys that were trying to kill me, then it swung back and cracked me across the head. 3 kills and a suicide. How much more can you ask for?
