Default nForce Driver (1.0-0292) Questions

Why is "Speaker Setup", "LFE Crossover" and other options grayed out in the nvmixer control panel?

My music sounds like crap because of no bass. I really need LFE Crossover.

Is it just not implemented at all? Is there a way of specifying LFE crossover in another way (bypassing the nvmixer)?

Default Re: nForce Driver (1.0-0292) Questions

I found out myself.

It is disabled in code.

File: NVmixer/SurroundSetting.cpp
Code:
void CSurroundDialog::SetSpeakerSettings(int idValue)
{
    // Disable the Lfe crossover now
    m_Lfe->setDisabled(TRUE);
    m_LfeSlider->setDisabled(TRUE);
	return;

    if(idValue >= IDPM_5_1SPKRS) {
        m_Lfe->setEnabled(TRUE);
        // check whether it is already checked or not
        // if so send the current LFE value
    }else {
        m_Lfe->setDisabled(TRUE);
        m_LfeSlider->setDisabled(TRUE);
    }
}
I'm just going to set it enabled and see if it works. It looks like all the corresponding methods are in place already, although I'm sure it's disabled for a reason.

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Are there any news about this topic?
Since now V301 is out and enabling LFE crossover still isn't working!

This is quite annoying! Why the heck doesn't someone from the coders enable it???
