Since I never played CS in my life, the old maps would probably be pretty cool

Maybe they can fix it, but I don't hold out much hope. All in all it is an amazing game... A bit buggy, but good and addictive no the less.

I just started to really play CS:S again and it's really fun. Has anyone tried the new "Fusion Source" pack yet? It's supposed to be next models, textures and stuff. Check it here:
http://www.games-fusion.net/content/000496.php I haven't tried it yet (dling right now) but I'll let you guys know how it is. Later. |

Sweet, I'd definitely like to know how it is. I started playing again last night and played for a good hour. I remembered why I loved this game so much.
I'm rusty as all hell though. ![]() |

You have to pay for their site? Screw this. I'm not downloading it.
The guns look really sweet, but the character models look exactly the same to me. EDIT: And besides that, I can't even find the freakin' download link. It just keeps going in circles. |

Ok, after playing for a little bit with the new Fusion pack, here are some pros and cons:
Pros: The skins are neat. Guns look more realistic Better sand textures on Dust levels New weapons sounds Cons: Skins for both T and CT look identical, in a way. I accendientally TKd about 3 times. At the end of the round, some goofy techno music plays. Voice overs get annoying (FIRE IN THE HOLE X 15) I guess I'll keep using it but you should really try it out for yourself. Makes things a little more interesting. Tell us what you think! |
