This game was so well done, and I love how there wasn't really any hype over this prior to release (at least to my knowledge).
Heh, yeah, this is probably the most underhyped FPS of the year. Even on the Xbox there was almost no interest in the game until after it was released (the pretty shoddy demo didn't help either), and the PC port went largely ignored due to Doom 3 and Half-life 2.

whoa, this game's graphics would give D3 a run for its money..

However, is there any way to get rid of that "sway" when he's standing still? I think it kinda makes me feel a little queezy.. (perhaps this is why I hated HL2 too)

I mean, can't he just stand still?!

This is also the main reason (i think) that this game has the most awfull texture shimmering i've ever seen, the angle of view continiously changes a little, this pronounces the shimmering (texture aliasing).

From what i've read it's actually better to play the game before you see the movie, you'll understand more about the movie than someone who hasn't played the game, although i haven't heard to many good reports about the movie.

I thought i say my 2c as well.

Best game i have played in a long time, you put cs source out of the hl2, and i am sure hl2 would have scored something like 7 at gamespot.. But this game, just bloody awsome, great graphics (loved doom3 graphics), great controls, great story, simply awsome.

PS: Thx for the 2.0 info :P, i was about to uninstall cause of the lag, it is pretty unplayable on 2.0++

Again highly recommend this game to anyone, lots of fun.

Btw is this a d3d or a opengl game...it cant be a hybrid :/

From what i've heard, it's opengl. I was just playing it for the past couple of hours but needed a break. Love this game.
