This kinda reminds me of Kingpin. At the time Kingping was just out, it was also the underdog I believe, and it had the same kind of atmosphere to me..

Right now I'm in prison, at the beginning, and so far I LOVE it.. I hope it stays at this quality level, and if so, I think you can put this right up next to doom 3 and possibly even better.

I'm playing at sm2.0++, and even tough fps is kinda low sometimes..it's real playable..

Is there really that much difference between 2.0 and 2.00++ shader in this game?

yeah .. even if you though the first part of the game is playable for you with SM2.0++ you wont enjoy the game later because of the more performance demands espically in fights & some bigger maps .

its best to play the game right now on SM2.0 & leave the SM2.0++ for the next gen video cards .. that will make the game replaying much more fun & semi-new experiance

Ok play did improve...but that was one of the worst managed sections of game play I've had to endure in long time....anyway back to the good stuff.

I also went back to Shader 2.0...the game is much more playable and I'm running 1280x1024 FSAA 4x \ AF 8x ....heh

I found that particular place a bit confusing, no weapons and lots of ways to go, after a while i just stopped killin/draging around guards and just used stealth all the way so the game picked up from there.

This game is way too short ... But I can see some replay value to finish all the quests.

Overall, very impressive game!

Like a few other ppl here i got this one on the Xbox but after finding out that the PC version was in the works i stopped playing it(got to the mines)and sold it

Considering what the Xbox is made of they did an amazing job with the engine but it really shine's on the PC @ high rez with AA+AF

Im not sure if it's part of the DC version but im finding a few things that were'nt in(or i missed) in the xbox version
like the light body armour

I hope they get around to releasing an SDK+Network code addon id love to see (& work on) a riddick DM mod
