Default Debian pure64 - 6629 - 2.6.9 failed

Hello everyone...

I've got a AMD64 3000+ on a Asus K8V-X with 2x256 DDR400 and a FX5700. I've installed without any error the 6629, but when i want to lauch X, My screen flip 3times and return to text mode. When i change in my XF86Config-4 'nvidia' to 'nv', X launch perfectly of course...I used my old XF86Config-4 file too (when i was on a 32bits arch) but no way...strictly the same problem...

Apperently XFree don't find the nvidia's module, but a 'modprobe nvidia' work without problem...

Someone can help me please ?

Thanks for your answers.

My second screen is terribly black with the nv driver...help me please

(==) ModulePath set to "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules"

Your X server is looking for nvidia_drv.o in /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers, but it was installed to /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/drivers; are there any other files installed under /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules (other than libglx.so*)? If not, you could remove that directory and replace it with a symlink pointing to /usr/X11R6/lib/modules and reinstall the driver; alternatively, you could move the modules manually.
