Unhappy Trouble installing NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111

First, I am as NEW as they come. My hands on experience with Linux is approaching 48 hours.. total! Any information is more than I had a minute ago!

I am running Fedora Core 1 with Kernel 2.4.22-1.2199. During the installation of the NVIDIA drivers, I get a message telling me that it needs to recompile using the Kernel Source code, but I don't have the source code installed. Can someone PLEASE tell me where to find the source code for my kernel so I can get my display working. Right now, I am using a 15'4" WXGA screen, and only tiny 800x600 portion of it is working.

I REALLY want to get away from Windows and have been anticipating a move to Linux, but if it continues on this path, I might have to reconsider.

Thanks again for any help,

Talking Re: Trouble installing NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111

Thanks! I guess the problem I was having was realizing that I had to go find the source code, and that it was not included with my OS. I got it downloaded, and got the NVIDIA adapter working, so now I am back to full screen. But it seems that my sound is out now for some reason. And I can tell that I have some tweaking to do to get my display just right. But its definitely a step in the right direction.

Thanks again for your help, I am sure you will hear much more from me in the near future!
