Hmmm lets see the results so far

BFG Tech is taking the 1st place with no competition .
EVGA in the 2nd place .
Leadtek in 3rd place while ASUS is coming close .

eVGA and I'm very, very happy with it. They're a great company and I'm really considering getting on the step-up program and moving up to an Ultra. It'd only be like $80-$100 or so more

Leadtek 6800 128mb. Very happy with it. The pipelines unlocks via RivaTuner with no problem whatsoever and it overclocks to 375/875 from 325/700 and could go higher but I don't see much performance gains since its paired with an athlon 2800+ barton. I get 10,600 in 3dmark2003.

OMG! Are you using the stock cooler? That things noise level is insane, it easily rivals a Vantec Tornado.

Maybe your confused. The leadtek 6800 is very quite. Its loud when you first turn your computer on, but when windows loads, you can hardly tell its on. Maybe the gt or ultra model is loud but the regular 6800 produces very little noise. Leadtek stats that the cooler produces less then 30db compared to the 38db of the stock cooler.

FYI, the Leadtek A400 Ultra TDH I have is so quiet that my water cooling setup can be heard over Leadtek's cooling solution.

I dunno where u got this vantec tornado thing from but I suggest you go through those particular sources again and if they still say what u say, then you can conclude those sources are talking out of their asses.

And the heatsink and fan is larger on the ultra version too. I was amazed how quite it was when I first got the regular leadtek 6800 compared to my old BFG 5900 non ultra. I think thats because the leadtek designed heatsink uses a heatpipe to transfer the heat to the back plate so the fans don't have to be as powerful/loud.

There is no heat pipe

At least not that I could see. The backplate have thermal pad loctated on the opposites sides of where the memory modules are located on the frontside. In theory helping to cool the memory. I severly doubt it helps that much

The fan blows air into the copper block through the center and the air is forced out through the indentations of the block dissipating heat. The fan is rated at 28 dbs

Albatron with a NV5 now o/c to 425 (Stable)

Its a 6800GT btw.

Other than the card, the package in Albatron sucked crap...sadly it was the only brand that was there in Australia.
