Hi,
I've found the 6629 driver doesn't work with my secondary display. Previous versions have worked fine. Basically what happens is when X starts, the "NVIDIA" splash screen that appears stays on the secondary display - when I login to an X session and drag a window around, it "rubs off" the splash screen logo and reveals my backdrop but whatever is dragged also gets stuck on the display. Has anyone else had this problem? Has it been mentioned before? I sent a bug report to NVIDIA but had no response what so ever ![]() I've tested with kernel's 2.6.8.1, 2.6.9 and 2.6.10. I've also applied various patches found on this forum. I can provide more information if anyone requests it (X configuration, X logfile etc. etc.). Thanks! |
