Hello!
I just installed the recent NVidia drivers (6629) on Mandrake 10.1 official. The installer didn't give me any errors and compiled the kernel module instantly. Starting the X-Server after modifying the XF86Config worked, too, but when I reboot the system and try to start X (it starts automatically on my system) it complains about something like:"screens found, but none have usable configuration". The strange thing is: When I reinstall the NVidia drivers then and try it again, it works without any error and with fully accelerated graphics... I really have no clue why it works then, do I have to add some options to XF86Config to avoid this error? Thanks for your help! PS: I'm using the default kernel 2.6.8.1-12mdksmp |

Something like `echo "nvidia" >> /etc/modprobe.preload` should resolve the module load problem across reboots.
