Default strange behaviour on mandrake 10

Hi to all. After installing the lastest nvidia drivers, my Mandrake 10 community has a strange behaviour. Xfree works great, with no errors if I run it manually after login BUT If I choose to start X at boot with auto login option it fails.

I get this messages in dmesg:
Code:
bootsplash 3.1.3-2003/11/14: looking for picture.... found (800x600, 11943 bytes, v3).
bootsplash: status on console 0 changed to on

Seems strange cause I read that with "rm_init_adapter failed" error X don't work and, as I said, I have no problems if I run X manually...just got to login an type "startx"....any ideas?

Many thanks.

Default Re: strange behaviour on mandrake 10

Problem solved.

I've tryed to add "nvidia" to modprobe.preload as wroten here:http://www.mandrake.tips.4.free.fr/c...ration101.html
but with no effect, then I edited my XF86Config adding "NvAgp" "0", now X starts at boot, not in a clean manner at all, but starts.
