Default Drivers problem with Fedora Core 3

Ok I searched the forum and I couldn't find anything that helps me.I have Fedora Core 3 upgraded from Fedora Core 2 using yum.
So I had installed 1.0-6629 drivers on FC2 , and when I rebooted to FC3 the X couldn't load, i told the x to change the conf and now when i go to xorg.conf in the device section when ever i try to change
Driver "nv"
Driver "nvidia"
when i reset the X it says there is a problem and has to "freshen up the conf file".
there is no point at this state to tell you that modprobe nvidia says there isn't such thing as nvidia module.
The funny thing is that when i access to the 1.0-6629 and try to install it says it is installed , but when i try to reinstall it i can't.
I tried the livna.org drivers but nothing came. When i type in the console

yum install nvidia-glx kernel-module-nvidia-`(uname -r)`

it says

No Match for argument nvidia-glx
No Match for argument kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.9-1.724_FC3
Nothing to do

So I am not sure where is the problem in the kernel ? IF so any idea what to do.

Thanks hope u understood me hehe.
