Default Powerslide for xp

Okay, I formatted my comp cause windows 98 SE absolutely sucks. xp is soooo much better. but I have one problem. with win98, my computer kept freezing, i couldn't install the latest drivers either cause it woud FREEZE!! but now, all the latest drivers are installed, but now i wanna play powerslide. BUT IT DOESN'T WORK!!! it just doesn't get into it for some reason. just-sits there. does anyone know what to do???
