I just bought a TFT (Viewsonic VX715). It works great under WinXP. Text
are clear, gaming are good, etc, etc. But under Linux the story is different. The text rendering is far worse than what's on WinXP (and my previous CRT). Gaming is a problem too. Does anyone have similiar expericne? Is this a driver problem that can be solved? Thanks, |

Silly question perhaps, but are you sure you're running at the monitor's native resolution?
My TFT looks great. Sub-pixel rendering looks much better than with XP for some reason. The only thing that doesn't work is the pivot mode. Grrr. I use a DVI connection BTW. The difference in picture quality is amazing. |
