No there's plenty of room in an SLI motherboard between the PCI-E 16x slots.

Those are PCIe 1x slots.

As for those slots, I lose both of them with Ultras. The Ultra cards take up dual brackets, I lose the remaining one because of the Bridge holder, and I lose the 2nd PCI slot from the bottom because it is too close to my Ultra, I have 1 PCI slot left to use, my Audigy 2 is in there. I'm pretty cramped

The small ones, yes, but I thought zero.TA was asking if you lost the other 16x slot because of the NV5 being so large. You're right though, he was asking if you lost the 2 1x slots and yeah you would. Wow, so you only have the one usable PCI slot? That is cramped.

I thought some of you might like to see the ASUS A8N SLI up close and personal. Below is a smaller version as the full size is a WHOPPING 1927x1195.

Click here for the hi-res 1927x1195 version. ~680KB

yeah i put the ram in wrong hehe corrected that

pic #27 that's RD1 bios savior chip to backup board bios so can switch between board bios and RD1 bios backup chip - test new beta bioses safely - frozencpu.com has them in USA

the blue pot on the side is VDD chipset voltage mod to allow 1.675v on chipset instead of 1.52v default - hasn't helped as 1T wise can't get this bloody A8N past 239-240mhz!
