Not to split hairs with you good sir. Another user claimed that PS2.0b = bastard standard supported by ATI...for another 4 months. his exact words. I was trying to show him that statement was not correct as any card that supports SM3.0 has to support all lower shader models which would then include PS2.0b. Thus PS2.0b will be "supported" by all NV SM3.0+ and ATI SM3.0+ products for some time to come...

Why these screenshots are so different???






Both on 6800gt (first by Superfly and the other by me) -> PAINKILLER+BOOH+PATCH1.61

In Video Options/Advanced Settings tick the 'Bloom' box, you might also need to set Dynamic Lights to 'ultra high'

The specular mapping is already there with BOOH . its done using SM2.0 i presume .

Well as far as i know ..that's all that's required, if it's still not working for you maybe a fresh install of the game might help, there's no commands required i'm sure.
ps, i have both Painkiller and BooH and have played them both but i don't have them installed atm.
