Still Life lets you play the role of FBI agent Victoria McPherson. Situated in Chicago, you are on the heels of a serial killer, much like your grandfather did 80 years earlier in Prague (Microids' Post Mortem). Dreamcatcher has released a demo featuring the first few areas of the game, players will play as both Victoria and Gus, exploring a gruesome crime scene and utilizing a variety of forensic tools.

To me that looks like a screen shot from what the Sims 3 might look like.

Just say NO to Starforce scumware secretly installed with games. The demo has it, the retail will have it, and the developer flat out lied on their forum and claimed it did not and was caught in a blatant lie by users who found that the demo DID install Staforce.

See about post #8 by Patrick, Site Admin. Lying scum.

I say cares? Never had an issue with starforce, maybe you wouldnt either if you would stop downloading pirated games?

I personally loved the demo, but I also love adventure games. Dam LucasArts and canceling Sam&Max!

EDIT: Don't see where a developer lied about the demo not having Starforce, Only see a Site Admin, which could be some fan who showed his support enough to be given access or someone hired JUST to work on the forum/site, No where does it state or hint that a developer said it wouldnt have starforce.

I don't download pirated games. I still don't want Starforce hijacking my windows IDE drivers, remaining permanently on my system after the game is long gone, and reinstalling them selves when I manually remove them though.

The man works for Microids, a company known for using Starforce, and doesn't know Starforce is in his demo, but we users can spot it in seconds. I say he lied, you say he was mistaken. That's fine. Either way Starforce is there, and it is known and well documented that it causes many problems.

I won't touch any game or demo with Starforce, ever. If you want to, be my guest.

What man? The man who is a Site Admin? How do you know he works for Microids directly? I don't see it labeled anywhere, just says hes a Site Admin, go on the EQ2 Forum, they have Site Mods also but dont know anything directly related to the development of EQ2.

As for Starforce, Never had an issue with it and it never gave me an issue with my IDE Drivers. I hear people claim performance loss, nope none here... my DVD Burner also works fine... hmmm...

Patrick: "I don't know if the decision came from The Adventure Company or us, but seeing the reaction to the people here, I'm guessing it's not us, cause seems not many people at Microids (high up people) thought it was a smart idead to package that with the demo."

More lies. The "high ups" at Microids are known lovers of Starforce (like Codemasters). They pushed their publisher for it in fact on some of their other games.

If he didn't lie, he was lied to by his own people. Either way "Microids" lied. I'm not going to take the time to educate you on the well known troubles and risks of Starforce and I'm not saying it will cause problems in every case, but I personally will not have it in any way, shape, or form on my PC.
