Yes you can take off the wheels, however the bottom is vented and the wheels do allow the air to come up under the case.

Hope that helps.

But when you do this, for the love of God, don't list your system specs again. Put them in your signature as was suggested before.

I will post benchmarks over the next few days. I'm curious myself.

I looked at SisSoft Sandra, but the scores seem synthetic.
N-bench 3 ran well, but it did not bebefit from the second Opteron,
Cly-Bench reported a 21,000 and was actually using the second cpu.

Aquamark, 3dMark and the rest have not been tried. I was never really keen on 3dmark - not fond of DX benchies, I prefer OpenGL. Aquamark does not like to run on 64 bit Win Ent Server 2003 RC1

DoomIII runs well, but it does not take advantage of the second processor.

Q3 patch 1.17 runs well, and does use the second processorI will try some reverend and quaver time demos

UT runs well, but does not seem much faster.

I plan on running all benchies at 1600x1200 and 1200x1920

4x anis 4x anti - maybe I will go up on that.

Ciao

Jay

Theres really no need for there to be 2 threads on this same subject. I merged them.

I see pictures as proof enough that he has the system.

By the way, awesome rig man. How about a trade?

And why are you guys saying its a waste of money? When it comes to computer hardware, nothing is a waste of money. At least not to me. If I had alot of money, I would have a rig like this. Without a doubt.

I think sometimes when people are jealous of something, they just say "waste of money" to justify them not being able to afford it. Awesome rig I would kill for something like that. Seriously

ps. thanks for merging these... i was tired of having to switch back and forth for my humor.. lol
I don't know about everyone else, but in my opinion your posts are adding absolutely nothing to this thread.

That's one sweet (and expensive) system you got yourself there Venturi. I'm really looking forward to seeing some benchies 16 GB or RAM?!?! That's insane. Aren't you concerend about one of your HD in your Raid 0 failing and losing 1.6 TB of data? I would be. I really like that case too.

Nice pics Excellent rig.
Eventually I'm going for dual fx-53's (940 pin) but that's for next year.
Not only for gaming though, but it should compile stuff for me pretty quickly.
