Well if you don't like RPGs then of course you won't like KoTOR, I guess that goes without saying.

I like an RPG every now and then but I absolutely hated KOTOR. It was painfully boring. I guess it was probably the turn based elements that it had..I dont really care too much for that type of game play.

Yay! Got KotOR II last night, played it for a few hours. So far so good, I have noticed that the engine runs smoother, also the characters animations are also a lot smoother. Melee combat looks very cool.

I think this story is way better written than the first one. And having the high detail textures makes the engine look better than the first one. Although the first seems to feel like there was some form of blur post work in the renderer, and this seems to be missing that. Which is much better in some ways, and slightly worse in others.
So far the game feels better than the first one did as in how its laid out/played out. I did crash though once so far right to desktop. |

Well I liked Fable a little and the Zelda series is alright, other than that I liked Morrowind and Gothic II...there a more but I cant think of them right now. I don't know..there was just something about KOTOR that really made me not like it at all, but I do know the difference between a hack n slash and a RPG. I just prefer action RPG's over the turn based system. |

I just got it as well but it'll have to take a back seat to Metal Gear Solid 3 for the moment.
