Is there any way to zoom out a bit? The char takes up a lot of space on the screen, i'd like to be able to pull the camera back a bit. Also is there any way to make the interface a bit smaller, at 1600x1200 the icons are still HUGE. Or is there a way to make them translucent?

The interface scales with the resolution, which I kind of like since on the first one it didn't and everything was too small. I don't think you can change it, but don't quote me on that.

Great Game!!
I play on max AF, AA, High detail, everything. No problems whatsoever, and the game loads are almost instantaneous (however you spell it), I loved the first one, and I'm loving this one!

Gotta say the same, great game and the only thing that has broken the constant EQ2 addiction in weeks

This game kind stinks of old. I'm going to leave out of this reply any technical consideration about the crap graphic engine and its horrible performance for the low amount of polygons it draws on the screen.
Same here, its playable, but jeesh the performance sucks for something that throws around no more polys than Quake 3. If an xbox can run it fine, why am I getting ~15fps in places on a 6800/P4 2.4/1.5 GIG ?

Yeah, I haven't heard any real star wars music yet, I guess they couldn't afford the license.

The two companions I encountered have uninspiring, stereotyped personalities (the small time criminal with an hidden heroic personality and the old, wise pal with a clouded past to leave behind) and they cannot hold a candle to characters like Canderous Ordo or Jolee Bindo.
The characters are lame... I miss Carth and Bastilla. This game just doesn't have the magic of the original. In the movie world, it would be one of those straight-to-video sequels.

This is what I get for buying a game without downloading it first.

Well I must partially reconsider my last statement.

The story gets much better after Talos. For me it was about 15 hours after having started the game. The beginning part is really too boring and it should have lasted no longer than a couple of hours.

As for the other considerations (bugs, graphics, atmosphre) my opinion remain unchanged.

I despise Star Wars but was addicted to this game until one of my roommate ruined the story for me.

I spent some more time on it, the characters and storyline get more interesting once you get off the mining outpost, which is so boring.

Anyway, I am now stuck. I need money to fill some quest and the swoop racing is totally bugged. If you forfeit one race, the race organiser will forever tell you that you didn't finish the race, even if you get the best time ever. Its going back on the shelf until a patch comes out.

DaveW: For the swoop racing thing, you have to ask to see the best times and THEN he'll acknowledge that you've placed before. He also will always call you the "champion" (even if you're last place) and you can race for free.

Well I've pumped 10 hours into the game so far. Liking it more than the original, characters aren't as good, but story is a good deal better. Grahpics, Performence, Bugs are about the same as the original. Not sure what I think of that level 50 cap though. Also, the influence system is more annoying than anything else.

Basically if you kiss ass the characters will like you more, and if you put them in their place they get pissy. It makes for some fun dialog choices.
