Meh, their latest games have been pretty meh.

Bioware and Obsidian seem to be the last bastillions of deep CRPG games left.

Indeed, Bloodlines might have been a true classic if there were not for the buggy engine and piss poor support from Activision.

Well, at least Troika did eventually (using their own money and resources with no help from Activision it seems) release a patch which fixed most of the issues with the game. I can't really think of any semi-openended games that HAVEN'T had a large amount of bugs.

this is sad, these are the guys who made Fallout series back when they worked @ interplay if my memory serves me right.

They also made Arcanum. One of my favorite pc rpg's (but didn't top Fallout 2 of course)

Must have been a hell of a lot more bugs then, I played that game all the way through with the latest patch and it still had countless bugs pretty much everywhere you looked.

I don't care what anyone says: I liked The Temple of Elemental Evil.

Which means they might start something new up again, as they did with Troika
Arcanum was very "falloutish", tho a bit more.. empty or something, great game tho.
Wasnt it "Blackisle" before they started up Troika? or maybe Im just confused as usual..

The funny thing is vamp:bloodlines has to be one of the best story based technology based rpg's ive ever played. It definatly was way above the pack of rpgs released last year. Not to mention the first fps rpg i enjoyed to the end more than one time, which i ddint with morrowind.
