PSP Battery life extended to 25 hours!

I've heard that its actually more a tweener of ps1 and ps2 quality leaning towards the ps2 side. I haven't heard that the PSP can do anything a ps2 can.

But good comparison to the 64!

yeah I've heard that too, the PSP has slightly lesser power than the PS2. However, when the screen is that small, it probably looks the same as the PS2.

I've also heard that the DS has slightly more power than the N64 on each chip. I would like to see a DS game that uses both chips to power just one screen. Sort of like an SLI thing. 2xN64 = gamecube graphics?

Well I've actually played with a PSP (albeit its not mine). Every game that I saw looked just as good as what the PS2 could do. Actually some games look better than what the PS2 can do (Ridge Racer for example).

while I agree, I think it is becasue the games appear on such a small screen. On a small screen you don't need as much detail to produce a realistic looking image.

All's I care is that the PSP can deliver the same visual quality as a PS2 in a handheld. Whether or not its because of the smaller screen doesn't matter to me. It still looks just as good.

Yep, same here I love my Dreamcast 2 death!! I own all other current game consoles, but will never sell or giveup my Dreamcast, it's the 1337est!!! House of Dead and Zombie Revenge never was sweeter Too bad Sega has stopped productions of systems, but probably is for the best

There are different display settings you can play the PSP at. For example, there are 4 different brightness settings you can have the screen display, having the darker display consume less battery life and brigther setting consume more...Also remember the PSP is going to be able to play full lenghts movies that Sony will also be releasing specifically for the PSP. Movies than go from 1-3 hours, imagine using it for on road purposes, like portable tv

Sony never seems to get it right the first time...they keep forgetting it a handheld and who wants to carry a brick with them all the time..

wonder if they will make an external joystick to fix the square button..LMAO
