In summary after reading through pages of posts I am under the impression that these drivers are great IF you don't play Riddick, don't mind OCing your 6800GT to speed up the fan (because it runs slower w/these by default), and you don't mind losing a few fps in the vst. Is that pretty much it?

KOTOR 2 still works. Don't see any Improvments or Artifacts in the game.

So much for these.

I've also noticed that nview isn't adding buttons to my windows as it should.
(Next display button, or any others).

To the troll below. I don't complain about beta bugs, I point them out in hopes that it will atleast save someone the aggrivation of installing them and coming up with the same undesired results, if not show a dev what still needs work.

yeah so ? a bit of a bug with spec lighting, you cant expect drivers to work with everything. especially beta

EDIT : to the troll above, your comment "so much for these" really annoys me, just because these drivers dont work on 2 of your games, doesnt mean they arent good and should be written off as crap drivers. problem exists between monitor and chair imo.

I myself am also having problems with the 75.90's in SLI. I am also running a dell 2000 LCD. Any one having problems with SLI that is using a CRT? Might be a LCD problem or more specificly a dell LCD problem.

Here's my 2c worth of benchmarks: 67.03 v 67.66 v 71.81 v 75.90......

Far Cry Research Demo
75.90 = 70.46 fps
71.81 = 69.12 fps
67.66 = 69.70 fps
67.03 = 69.69 fps

Halo
75.90 = 67.92 fps
71.81 = 67.59 fps
67.66 = 67.21 fps
67.03 = 67.57 fps

Doom3
75.90 = 56.8 fps
71.81 = 56.8 fps
67.66 = 56.6 fps
67.03 = 56.6 fps

Riddick
75.90 = n/a
71.81 = 70.43 fps
67.66 = 70.85 fps
67.03 = 70.07 fps

Painkiller
75.90 = 115.87 fps
71.81 = 106.74 fps
67.66 = 108.15 fps
67.03 = 109.18 fps

Splinter Cell 3 Demo(level start)
75.90 = n/a
71.81 = 18 fps
67.66 = 16 fps
67.03 = 16 fps
Splinter Cell Demo(save point)
75.90 = n/a
71.81 = 27 fps
67.66 = 23 fps
67.03 = 23 fps

HL2 'airboat' Timedemo
75.90 = 71.17 fps
71.81 = 71.65 fps
67.66 = 67.54 fps
67.03 = 67.67 fps

HL2 'Guru3D_demo5' Timedemo
75.90 = 107.31 fps
71.81 = 108.99 fps
67.66 = 103.65 fps
67.03 = 103.70 fps

CS:Source VST
75.90 = 107.34 fps
71.81 = 106.25 fps
67.66 = 103.24 fps
67.03 = 104.86 fps

I couldn't bench Splinter Cell so i just loaded up a couple of places in the game with Fraps running, when i first tried Splinter Cell i got it working ok but when i started doing the benchmarks the graphics went all screwy(beta demo+beta drivers i suppose). I did the usual between driver installs...driver cleaner, defrag etc. Not much difference in FPS between the 75.90's and the 71.81's i found

Yeah good job, considering you have a powerful system, that Splinter Cell demo seems to be very demanding.

you have to download nhancer ... you could give it a try but you might see a major performance hit with the 6600....

ahh, i found what the problem was with the Splinter Cell 3 Demo, i only get the corrupted graphics when i have Fraps running, if i load the game without Fraps it's fine, strange how the game loaded up fine with Fraps running when i had any of the other drivers installed

I have a Inno3d 6600gt pci-x card temps seem fine

Aquamark3 55245-71.81
57650-75.90

3dmark03 8042 - 7181
8280 - 75.90

So far they seem quicker and temps are fine.

Only two problems. NFSU2 has blocky road textures at bootom of screen & riddick does not run.

Is this a driver issue.
