I think they plan to first finish a "straight port".
Then start the facelift with new models, maps etc. Which is why it looks like it does, same content as before (I think atleast, didnt play it enough to tell myself).

So, are they actually charging for this mod? Or will it be free like CS:S?
If you have to buy it, it better not be more than $20. $10 would be even better... I mean its the same damn mod we have been playing for years, just with sharper textures. ![]()

I think they said it was going to be $10 for everyone except Gold packages.
It's such bull**** that the POS CE doesn't get it for free. We paid $10 less than the Gold package and got a HELL of a lot less than them. |

How can anyone look forward to DoD:S at all? With a game like CoD:UO that's been out for like 10 months now, they can't even come close to porting a older game to something as good. They won't be able to magically add vehicle physics or add the environment realism that BiA offers. I say, if you want WW2 action, either get the new BiA which will probably be much better, or stick to CoD.

Or get Red Orchestra... but that is a different type of WWII mod... DOD and CoD are much more "arcade" like... which I enjoy most of the time... but I like my WWII games to be less arcade like.
