Default Gran Turismo 4 = phenominal

My roommate and I are totally consumed. If you want to maintain a social life I don't recommend purchasing this game.

It's one the best looking console games (and by far the best looking PS2 game) that I've ever seen/played. It has the same addicitive core gameplay that the GT series has always enjoyed, and has over 700+ cars. If you have ever enjoyed racing games, buy it. Right now. Get up, don't even reply, and go to your local game shop.

I have liked this game series from the beginning. It's a nice break from MMORPG's and FPS. They are indeed very well done.

Yeah I want to get it... I read if you have a GT3 save you can also transfer your licenses and 100,000 CR over which would be pretty sweet... I would hate to have to get the S license again.

I didn't know about the licenses, just the money. That's pretty cool. My roommate did all of the licenses over again anyway, and didn't transfer any cash. This way you get to check out some of the new cars and whatnot. I suppose a more casual fan might be inclined to just transfer the licenses over and get into it though.

Well I just read you only get the A and B licenses sadly... guess I will have to get IA and S all by myself again . And yeah... I thought about not transferring money when I get the game... but I don't really care... I always hated racing with a PT cruiser in 3 until I could build up cash :\.

I was just about to buy this game but I dunno. I've already beat GT2 and once you beat one, you've pretty much beat them all. I'll rent it and see how cool it is. The graphics look great. Too bad this doesn't come out for PC.

i have to pick up this game.. and figure out how to mount the DFP... might drag our small round kitchen table in front of the tv to give it a solid mounting point..

No thanks I will pick up Forza Motorsport for Xbox since it has online support and online career mode.

After playing Forza Motorsport at CES I agree that it looks just as good as GT 4, and the Live features really give it the edge. Not saying GT 4 is a bad game, because what they've accomplished with PS2's hardware is amazing all by it self. I hope they don't have any more crashing problems with Forza or more delays.

Lol ya the crashing is fixed. They had it on x-play and tested it and there were no more crashing problems. I agree GT4 looks great but no online turns me away from it since I am hooked on xbox live.
