Default Best CDRW drive for under $75

I'm looking for a new CDRW. My old HP burner is dieing (it won't write anymore and produce high pitch noise everytime I tried to burn some cds but it still read tough). Anyway, I'm looking for a good burner under $75 with black color bezel (I have black set up). I'm looking at lite on models and sony but black lite on burner seem to be hard to find and they only have 2MB buffer. What is your favorite or you best choice of cd-burner for less than $75?

This Lite-On drive from Newegg should fit your bill just fine. It's fast and comes in almost $20 under your budget.

Head over to www.newegg.com and buy a Lite-On super-cheap!

2MB buffer doesn't matter b/c it has buffer-underrun protection.....Buffers mattered only when this technology wasn't available...

How quiet is the Lite-on drive? This has been one of my biggest concerns with CDRW drives.

Lite-On.

They're not quite when you burn, but they're not mind-numbingly loud.

If your box isn't silent, you should be fine.
