Anyway nevermind all this silly bickering. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to derail your thread like this. Regarding your OP, I have actually noticed the same thing, however it only seems to affect certain games, with certain driver releases. For example, the 61.77 drivers ran Half-Life 2 faster (5-10 fps) with the options set in the CP, while with the 66.93s it ran better set in the game. With 67.66 it made no difference, which was good since you need to set AF in the CP to reduce texture shimmering. I just installed the 71.94s yesterday and did not see a difference either. I should mention that the newest drivers seemed to smoothen up performance a little, though I can't really put my finger on how exactly. Pretty nice though.

Anyway that's a good observation you made.

looks like this should be moved to off topic it's kindof weird all this correcting and getting offended it's just madness it should be retitled as use of punctuation lesson i think the original post was intended to be helpfull but it has dissolved into crazy posts like this one he is right sometimes letting the app control aa and af is better he did get jumped about punctuation and it is understandable that he might get offended but now he should chill out and the rest of you should apoligize at least he can spell so what's the deal
