Default FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (../...): Invalid module format (updated)

Hi there.

I was so looking forward to this new driver, but I can't get it to work.
It installed with no errors, (go to load the nvidia module manual) but when
i start x, there is nothing going on. Just a black screen. I now computer is still
running, cause I managed to login trough ssh, and derby get a nvidia-bug-repport.

I'v just reinstalled my debian system (sarge unstable), running the newest kernel.
My last known good working config, was before i reinstalled, running debian
unstabl as well, and kernel 2.6.10 with nvidia-6628 with jp patch...

And that's not all, after I run sh NVIDIA-* and install the module, I get a black screen of death.. then I'v got to press the reset button get it restarted. When I try to load the module trough "modprobe nvidia" I get this error.

FATAL: Error inserting nvidia (/lib/modules/2.6.11.2/kernel/drivers/video/nvidia.ko): Invalid module format.

what now?

After doing a "echo nvidia >> /etc/module/" and restarting..
I could read out from dmesg, not sure, but I think it's
this message I get when I load the module on start up..
"No module found in object"

I'v attached the nvidia-bug-repport.

Well I fixed the module not loading..
I made a directory under /etc/udev/ called devices

and followed this instruction..

//////////////////////

In short:
*boot your system with your rescue or install CD.
*type chroot /mnt/sysimage
*type modprobe nvidia
*type cp -a /dev/nvidia* /etc/udev/devices
*reboot

////////// Source; http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/post-175635.html

I cheated and did not use a rescue cd or so, just uninstalled, installed and loade the module
copy the stuff from /dev/ and did a restart...

Now the nvidia module is loaded on everystart up, and it seams like it's working, but I still
get a black screen..
