Default 6600GT: animated XCursor flicker with HWCursor 1

As the title says, my cursor flickers when using animated Xcursors.

HWCursor 0 works around the problem.
Disabling RenderAccel of the Render extension does not change anything.

Card: 6660GT, tried two different brands. (I did not experience this with a Ti4440 using the same software)
System: Debian sid/unstable
Drivers: 6629, 7167. I thought the new one would fix it, I guess nobody has reported the bug yet.

You may notice PCI Express errors in the report log.. This comes from a bad interaction between the nvidia driver and the PCI-E network controller, but it does not give me much trouble these days. I have already reported it to the network driver authors, I guess I should report it here as well.. Oh wait, I just did.
