K. I am at my witts end.
I am trying to play UT2003 in Linux Red Hat 9. At first it took me awhile to get the Nvidia drivers installed but I did it. I then got UT2003 installed, it ran great until I patched it and lost the sound. After a couple of days of trial and error, I finally got the sound working. Now the problem is the sound has about a one second lag or delay. I have googled my butt off, searched and posted in a half-dozen forums and nobody can tell me how to fix this problem. Here's what I am using: Gigabyte 7VAXP Mobo with onboard Realtek audio AthlonXP 1800 cpu Nvidia GeFOrce FX5200 128MB video 512 MB pc2700 Linux RedHat 9 with latest kernel update Please can someone help me - I tried installing an updated sound driver from Gigabyte's website, followed the instructions exactly but it just won't install. |
