Frogger, on a mac, 1985...

Then there was a LONG gap, then I played some sorta RC Pro Am type of game on a C64 or 128 in 1988... then another long gap, and in 1991 I played Commander Keen on my uncle's freshly built 386...

By '92 I had a PC (Hyundai 286-12, ATI graphics card, 40mb HD) and had been bitten by the gaming bug...

... and I always stayed away from Oregon Trail....

I think you mean "Adventure" aka "Pirate Adventure" on the TI-99/4A.

And "River Raid" was on the Atari 2600...you beat "River Raid" IIRC, think you took a picture of the TV at the time.

You also beat "Adventure" and were up so late doing it that I think you were stuck to the chair you'd sat in all night.

"Adventure" was my first game too. That, or one of the many 2600 games.

BTW, I may download the TI-994A emulator and try to beat "Adventure" myself now.

I had DOS 4.01/DOS Shell all set up to launch all my games... I got sad when I learned how bloated DOS 4.01 was, though, and was happy to switch to 5, but missed launching apps the easy way...

A version of Pong, that was housed in some wooden box my dad assembled.. Dunno what is was..
Some ASCII games after that on some kinda of pre-pc type computer my dad had..
1st game to blow me away was Quake1 tho..
