Default Cannot install X at all

I am a relative Newbie to using the NVIDIA 6200, so I am sorry if this sounds naive.

I have the Gigabyte NF4 GA-KJ8NU-SLI motherboard, their GV-NX6212D NVIDIA 6200 video card, and an AMD 64 3500 CPU. It installed Windows XP just fine, and now I am trying to install RedHat 64 Enterprise 4. Any time (initially, in graphics mode install, later when I start X with text mode) it tries to start graphics, I get hash on the screen. I have read the doc for the Linux driver install, but it is not clear to me how I can get there from here!
