Well I like WoW a lot thus far, and I haven't had it long. I will likely add Guildwars to the list as well. EQ 2 is uninstalled. I now have what? 10 new coasters?

I am totally addicted to World of Warcraft as well. I picked up Doom3, Half Life 2 and Pirates! and barely played them at all and instead went back to playing WoW. I've got my Warlock up to level 44. I played Guild Wars on the first free weekend and thought the graphics were great, the ability to have NPCs in your party was cool, but it got boring fast.

The one thing that may stop me playing WoW is that many in my guild have quit the game after making it to level 60 out of boredom thereafter. They need to get the honor system and battlegrounds up soon!

I didn't care for WoW too much. (It was in Beta at the time, I admit, and no... not stress test beta... actual beta.)

I love Guild Wars tho. It rocks.

I got bored with EQ2 , and actually likeing GuildWars its changed dramaticaly from last years betas , they constantly changeing it , but 3 day beta at end of the month is annoying i wish they would finish it sooner i wanna play more

That video was awesome. I don't have a whole lot of room to talk because I haven't played EQ2 or WoW, but I fell in love with Guild Wars this past weekend. A buddy gave me the friends pass this past Saturday and I was hooked. Pretty good community. Mt buddy didn't play at all on Sunday and I made a couple of new friends and had a lot of great laughs. I even joined a Guild. When I resigned last night I was only at level 6, though I only had about 10-12 hours of gameplay in. I have a feeling that Guild Wars will make me seriously neglect my hacked Xbox. I played the game at 1280x1024 with 4XAA and all effects and it was smooth as silk and gorgeous. I will be picking up a preorder kit soon. I am very excited about all of the possibilities this game offers.

I like this game as well. Finally a game that is somewhat like a MMORPG/hybrid where you don't need to be a child or a welfare recipient to excel.

EQ 2 and EQ to me were creating a sense of achievement in a persistent world entirely through barriers of time and repetition, with no other way to challenge players except making advancement have the cadences and feel of “work".

Huge barriers of time and repetition do nothing for me. Bring on the PvP.

It's not in the same sense as WoW, EQ2 and the others. Its a MMO like Diablo 2, you have the option to group with any of the thousand players who play but will never see more then 24 in a combat area ever, only in the lobbies (towns) will you see more and even then its capped to a limit and a new lobby is created. There is no main over world to explorer, you can wander around aimlessly without combat.

hit level 19 tonight on my main...will probably cap tommorrow. I love this game, and have cancellend my WOW subscription until it gets half as good as this.
