A great Tip for all SLI User and the Game: Brothers in Arms

When renaming the bia.exe to brothers.exe (or other...) and AFR 2 Mode you becoming 40% more Performance!

Interesting .. thanks for the tip

BTW whats the performance improvment if you chose the defualt profile then ?? & why it requires renaming the exe file ??

Chris have you tried the official SC3 demo yet ?? .. my performance is very good there but i still get some serious slowdowns as soon as i change to the infrared visor (20s)
i want someone else to confirm this so i can make sure its a bug or not & perhaps report it to nVIDIA .

Hmm I'll try it in a bit. I am willing to bet Infrared vision is similar to Far Cry's CryVision.

It was working pretty fine in a single 6800GT , but in SLI its much slower

That will remain a secret by Nvidia...
It exists no profiles in the Forceware however it seems an automatic recognition to have. One does not have to rename the bia.exe otherwise seizes the AFR2 mode correctly.
With default Settings you becoming 20-30 fps with AFR2 Mode (and rename the .exe) 35-55 fps with all Details incl.HDR @1600x1200 16xAF

Sh64, I just tried the Splinter Cell Chaos Theory demo and wow. You are right. Very significant improvement to performance. When I tried the game with my single 6600GT. I struggled @ 1024x768 with 4xAA/16xAF. And SLI saw no improvement. I didnt play it very long but areas that were getting low numbers on my old rig were seeing 35 + FPS @ 1600x1200 with 4xAA/16xAF. I am very satisfied with the numbers. Thats for sure.

World of Warcrafts recent patch has made the game very friendly towards SLI. It used to be like Max Payne 2 and you'd only get like 2-3 FPS increase at best and it was running absymally slow. The latest patch changed the graphic engine to be more SLI friendly. I average about 70-100 FPS in 95% of the game and its just beautiful @ 4xAA/16xAF with 1600x1200 resolution. Anyway. The newest patch makes WoW very SFR friendly.
