I think I may go with the coolmaster myself. According to the specs at new egg, it has an exhaust fan in the top of the case.

I like the 120mm fans since they can move more air then the 80's with less noise.

Now if someone could offer me advice on how to justify the cost of the coolmaster case with my wife I'll be set!

Tell her you need it because of matters concerning national security and tell her that if she argues: she's a terrorist.

Even my cheap $50 Aspire X-Dreamer has top exhaust fan and side fan.

Not to be a thread derailing salesman, but my Xaser III has two front, two side, two rear AND a top fan. My e-penos is much larger since I've purchased this case!

I think you might want to take a peek.

My Lian Li PC62 is the envy of my friends. It's got room to work in. No screwing around with having to arrange hard disk drives so cables don't bump into your video card. And, it stays cooler because of the nice volume.

Some of the Lian-Li cases have top exhaust fans, just need to poke around.. newegg or frozencpu should have em.

And yeah, my vote is on Lian Li, awesome cases.

CoolerMaster because heat rises and the top blower gets that heat out a little faster.

Heat does rise but if you have good intake/exhaust air flow, the fan in the top of the case will not do much to alleviate heat issues as there will be none. It can actually harm it as the flow of air will be exhasted in two different directions. You want the warm air out of the case as fast as possible and you can create pockets where the air doesn't move if you have try to have it move in more then one direction.

It really depends on how the case is setup and any if there are any obstructions to the airflow. I had 2 80mm intakes and 2 80mm exhaust fans with 1 80mm top fan and I disabled the top fan and the temp was actually cooler by 5c under a load. I have a temperature monitor on the front of my case that monitors the air temp inside my case and that is where I got the 5c temp difference from. I say try both and see which one is better.

If you have good airflow from the intake/exhaust fans, the top fan may be slowing down the exhaust.

Just my experience and opinion but try it and see. Differnet cases/configurations require different cooling.
