Exclamation (EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (NVIDIA X driver not found)

Hi

i ve this problem..

My configuration is
Dual Opteron 64 bit
Nvidia Fx3000

i m using Red Hat Enterprise 3.4 ( with 2.4 kernel )
i ve put the latest Nvidia Driver

i ve change in the XFree86Config
the "nv" to "nvidia"
and i ve change load "dri" under the section panel in #load "dri"

if i startx i ve no Nvidia logo...but the screen goes up..

why the nvidia driver don't load?

have any idea about?

Please attach your X log file, /var/log/XFree86.0.log; the error message indicates that the NVIDIA X driver module is not currently being loaded/used. Make sure you're editing the X configuration file referenced in the log file (most likely /etc/X11/XF86Config).

You need to change the Driver in the Device section from "nv" to "nvidia", i.e. the section needs to read:

ups, i ve forget to change that!

now i ve the same problem...
when i startx the computer hangs..with black screen and i ve to force shutdown manually..

here's the log..

another thing..

my motherboard have the Nvidia chipset.. and from the lspci -v I ve see that many thing are not properly recognized... is better to put the nvidia driver ?
