hi all
i have huge problems during configuration of twinview. im trying this since 6 weeks. i have got an nvidia quadro nv280 and suse 9.2 last step i made was, installing the latest driver ( http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d..._1.0-7167.html ) after that i reat the manual for suse ( ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Li...167/README.txt ) i did all like it is described (EDITING YOUR X CONFIG FILE, CONFIGURING TWINVIEW). now, when i am starting x both displays are starting but i see on both the same! like having the same display twice. sorry for my bad english and thank you for your answers. greetz, nash PS: the important parts of my xconfig: Section "Module" Load "dbe" Load "extmod" Load "glx" # extensions EndSection Section "Screen" SubSection "Display" Depth 16 Modes "default" EndSubSection SubSection "Display" Depth 8 Modes "default" EndSubSection Device "Device[nvidia]" Identifier "Screen[nvidia]" EndSection Section "Device" Driver "nvidia" Identifier "Device[nvidia]" Option "TwinView" Option "MetaModes" "1280x1024,1280x1024; 1024x768,1024x768" Option "HorizSync" "DFP-0: 20-81; DFP-1: 20-81" Option "VertRefresh" "DFP-0: 58-85; DFP-1: 58-85" Option "ConnectedMonitor" "DFP-0, DFP-1" Option "TwinViewOrientation" "DFP-0 LeftOf DFP-1" EndSection |
