It might be possible that dual core is just a marketing term to describe an architectural difference though I doubt it.

????Does it mean G70 is DUAL-CORE GPU??????

Holy Dual Core GPU

hmm... may be we have it all wrong

Dual Core 32 pipe GPU out in June?

What about this talk with 24 pipe (G70) ?

And if the G70 is now a Dual Core 32 Pipe GPU So what is the G80 going to be like

Do you think that NV48 is correct refresh???If NV 48 is NV40 refresh why in Forceware drivers there are entries like these:

NVIDIA_NV48.DEV_0211.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6800 "
NVIDIA_NV48.DEV_0212.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6800 LE "
NVIDIA_NV48.DEV_0215.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT "

refresh part with the same names???And why do they decide to change codenames for mobile GPU???
I think G70 could mean Generation 7(GF7800, GF7600 etc.)-according to this info G70 is hext generation NVs GPU....but is it possible that NV will release G70 about May/June if they have taped out G70 already????
