Default NFORCE AC3/Stereo Switching Error on 301 driver

I can successfully play stereo files and ac3 files, but after playing an ac3 file I get errors in my dmesg and then cannot playing anything other than ac3 files.

dmesg errors:

Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo
Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo
Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo
Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo
Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo
Nvsound: Unable to change the Channel, set back to Stereo

Any ideas on how I can fix this? My hardware is a Shuttle SN41G2V2, using onboard nforce sound with SPDIF for output.

Thanks
