Also, how does this one compare to the preveous?
And Best Buy will price match (in the store, at least) ... I picked it up yesterday. All I can say is WOW. And that's on old hardware to boot. I can only imagine what someone with an A64 + 6800GT must be seeing. I'm still getting used to the key map ... I'm not sure if it's changed since the last SC game, or whether I played too many other FPS games in between!

The story in this one seems a bit disjointed. Voice acting is still top-notch (and I like the fact that you can have the characters talking in their native languages). Environments are incredible. Good stuff.

Yeah, the game is beautiful, top notch voice acting(well at least in the first lvl lol), controls are nice and it runs awsome. I only played the lighthouse lvl last night but the game has already sucked me in. Much better then Pandoras IMO.

Yeah, use keyboard and mouse... Sorry that wasn't very helpful.

Try searching the net for different drivers. If you can find your converter on lik-sang.com then they will have a few good driver links on the product info page.
Thats where I found my driver for my xbox controllers, now finally I can use them for even the really choosy games that before would only accept my old faithful Gravis Xterminator!

Well I finally got to play more coop and I pretty much have every map memorized (with the exception of Chemical Bunker).

Really hope UBI releases more COOP maps like they said they would... supposedly they said something about releasing 4 more maps if coop was popular (which it would be much more popular if everybody could get it working :\).

I just got back from buying it...$40 at Best Buy, only $27 with tax after a $15 GC. Not bad, I would say. If I had a CompUSA ad, I could've gotten it for like $16, but meh. I'm excited.

There were no collector's editions or whatever it is, though.

I'm thinking about picking this game up but I'm not sure which version i should get, PC or XBOX.

On the one hand, my PC is decently powerful and the game will probably look much better on the PC. On the other hand, I don't have a joystick and the Xbox live capabilities look pretty sweet. Anyone have any recommendations?
