We've just installed a new Quadro FX 4400 into a new HP XW6200 with Red Hat WS3 Update 4.
The performance is much slower than expected. When I start the nvidia-settings tool it tells me that I've only got 256Mb of memory - should this be 512 Mb ? |

that is my point.
with the 7174 drivers, which don't seem to support the Qadro FX 4400, is this normal behaviour, or does it indicate a hardware problem? |

Look in the XOrg.log file in /var/log to see how much memory it really sees.
