So, here I uploaded my currently modified bios for Sebbo 04, it unlocks all pipelines and vertex shaders by default, so you dont have to bother with RivaTuner anymore if your card can succesfully unlock, of course.
Clocks are 439/800, 1.4V in 3D Mode and 1.1V in 2D Mode. With this bios I score arround 11500 in 3DMark 03.

Somebody post about a boot disk which automatic flash a faulty flash back.
I would be happy If you could give it out.
One blind flash should be enough for my nervs

If you go back to 12x1, 5 vp, you should regain the ability to overclock again. It's the tradeoff you make for unlocking the card.

Just because many people have, doesn't mean you will. I tried a BFG 6800NU that would overclock to those speeds at 12x1, 5 vp but when it unlocked, it wouldn't go more than 10 MHz over stock. It's luck of the draw, nothing more.

Reading this thread should have at least indicated that you can improve on the core/memory overclocks by increasing the current default GPU volts and relaxing certain Memory Timing values. Both of which can easily be done by modding your card's bios with NiBiTor.

Other than choosing because of special features on your card, like VIVO, TV out etc, it doesn't much matter except that 6800LE/NU cards generally work best with NU type bioses. The only real exception to this being the ASUS 6800GT 128MB DDR AGP bios, which is what I currently use with my Leadtek A400LE.

So to get you started, you can either mod your own bios with NiBiTor, or flash with any of the AGP bioses linked in this thread. Including a suitably modded ASUS6800Gt type bios like you will find in the linked zip files below,

http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/atta...chmentid=12294

http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/atta...chmentid=11638

And for flashing activities,

Flash the bios in DOS using nvflash.exe v5.13

nvflash -r (removes any protection)

nvflash -b ORIGBIOS.ROM (saves original bios)

nvflash -4 -5 -6 BIOSNAME.ROM (flash new bios file)

However because of DOS filename restrictions, "ORIGBIOS.ROM" and "BIOSNAME.ROM" must have no more than 8 char's in first part of filename and no more than 3 char's in extender part, otherwise DOS will not recognise the command.

And note; the -4 -5 -6 command switches will force a flash regardless of any ID mismatches, so always just select to continue.

But obviously make sure you ONLY flash a AGP type card with a supporting AGP bios, and a PCI-E type card with a supporting PCI-E bios !!!!!

I have an A400LE and i was wondering how/if the modded 6800GT 128mb DDR1 AGP bios would help anything, just better timings? the voltage isnt increased is it? Like if i were to flash it to the 6800GT, would i have a noticable gain in like 3dmark 05? One other thing if i flash it.. i cant use 16x1,6vp, only 12x1,6vp so how could i mod it to use only 12 pipes and make sure its using the 3 good quads? thanks!

My first inclination is to just say READ the thread since all info you require has been discussed many times before.

However, below you will find a bit of extra info on my original experience when first installing a Leadtek A400LE,

A400le, GPU@1.1v, Clocks 300/700, pipes 8x1,4
Aquamark3, 46207
Codecreatures1, 55.9
3Dmark05 v120, 2521
3Dmark03 v360, 7345
3Dmark2001se v330, 18858

Pipes unlocked to 16x1,6
Aquamark3, 58352
Codecreatures1, 70.1
3Dmark05 v120, 3583
3Dmark03 v360, 10066
3Dmark2001se v330, 20606

GPU@1.4 and Timing mods, Overclocked to 425/900
Aquamark3, 70068
Codecreatures1, 86.2
3Dmark05 v120, 4805
3Dmark03 v360, 13015
3Dmark2001se v330, 23253

And of course the current results in my sig below:-
