Default Noobie Needs help - Red Hat and XFX GeForce FX 5700 Ultra

I have got an XFX GeForce FX 5700 Ultra graphics card - I have read the other threads but could not find one for this graphics card (i'm sure they are all nearly the same but wasn't sure!!) Installed Red Hat the other day and i changed the driver to the GeForce FX one - but that just caused a black screen when trying to "STARTX" so i changed the driver to the "VESA" standard driver and it works fine. But i cannot play the games or change the screen resolution - because it does not support the graphics card. I installed the "Linux IA32 - 1.0-7174 graphics driver", and changed it so that my graphics card would use that driver instead, but it caused me the same problems as when i used the origional driver. Should i install the "FreeBSD
1.0-7174 driver" or am i going about this all wrong?! I have got Red Hat linux version 9.0 and if anyone could please help, i would be very grateful
