Twinview over AGP & PCI card possible?
Is it possible to have twinview work extending the screen over multiple cards?
Currently I have a FX6600 256MB in the AGP slot and a FX5200 256MB in a PCI slot. As seperate screens I can get 3D acceleration in both, but under xinerama I only get 3D on the AGP. In xinerama I can scroll windows across screens no problem, but in seperate screens of course I can't.
I know I could plug both monitors into the one AGP card and use twinview, but I'd rather split the graphics load between the two cards, that and the fact I plan on going to 3 monitors soon with 1 central running on the AGP card and two extras on the PCI card. I would like to have 3D/2D working on all with the ability to drag windows across all of them.
Is this possible or merely a pipe dream? I know I can do it under Windows XP (well BSOD unless I first boot Linux then reboot into windows), but that isn't my primary OS and I'd rather have 3D on one monitor then worry about booting XP.
Thanks for any help.
