Default FX5700LE TD128 AMD64 FC3 higher resolution

Need help getting higher resolution modes working for my garphics card:

I have already installed the NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-7174-pkg2.run for my Fedora Core 3 new install. I have a 64-bit Motherboard with an FX5700LE-TD128 graphics card. When I select Applications>System Settings>Display the highest display resolution options I have is 800x600. The Video card shown in the dialog is NVIDIA GeForce FX (generic).

I'm new to using Fedora and configuring graphics cards. How can I configure FC3 to make available and allow me to use more of the available graphics modes/resolutions?

When I try to change the configured card, there isn't (that I recognize) any boards closer to this one. What am I missing?

I tried going into the xorg.conf and adding an additional mode, like "1024x768" under the screen section, but didn't seem to have an effect.

I've been using FC3 install instructions at http://stanton-finley.net/fedora_cor...tes_nocss.html, which has helped guide me without any other problems so far.

Any help hints would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
