I had a big post but I lost it all .

Basically...

New main menu (character selection is way different)
New PvE area where the Tomb of Primeval Kings was (supposedly new green drops after you finish all 4 levels)
New group of islands south of Lions Arch used for PvP battles

My brother IMed me and told me basically the only thing that's changed is the log in screen and not the actual UI in-game.

I was really hoping they had added detailed stats like chance to hit, chance for crit, chance of being hit, resistances, etc...

I'm still upset they don't have that stuff. The game feels half finished without a stat sheet giving all that info. And it just seems like it's one of those "duh" things that should be in any RPG. Grr!

Ummm...hmmm..I just logged in and I'm really digging the new menu and everything (and the music, which is amazing), but what I'm not digging is that it says I'm using DX8 as my renderer.

WTF?

There isn't any option to change that that I can see...is there a .config or an .ini somewhere that I can change?

I noticed that to. Kinda weird or is this game only DirectX 8?

Maybe, but I can't believe that it would be with graphics that good. Isn't bloom a DX9 feature, too?

PvP is okay. i dont really like it cause there is less strategy in it.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. There is tremendous strategy involved in GvG and PvP (4v4 team arenas and 8v8). Working out complimenting skills for 8 players and forming a plan of attack in a GvG is harder than any mission I've been a part of.

You guys should definitely go to Tomb of Primeval Kings (not ToA) and check out the new portal into Underworld. It's not the same as the UW you get into at ToA. It's very different. It has 4 levels and is extremely tough. At the end of it, you "allegedly" fight 3 bosses named Darknesses and they drop new green items. The new green items are real and the Victos Blade is freakin awesome. Check out the greens here.

On another note, the descriptions for some weapon stats have changed. It now says "halves casting time of healing spells (chance 20%)" instead of "reduces casting time of healing spells (chance 20%)"

good call dark. i think, for me, its just that i havent been on any teams that acted like teams. so, in my defense, its my lack of good teams that hinders me. but i can see what you are saying about how planning would be alot more intense than just killing stuff.

klye, when i get one this weekend, i'll see if we can do some pvp for fun. i always enjoy setting people on fire.
