Default VIAKT400 Chipset: AGP drive strength

In the README for the Nvidia drivers, i found that the Option "AGP drive strength", or "AGP Driving Value" it is a bios-setting for VIA-based mainboards, should largely affect the stability of the system.
Now, has anyone experimented with this setting? The README says that values between 0xEA and 0xEE seem to work best with NVIDIA hardware.
Should i give it a try?
(I have OpenGL Lockups... like much other users here)
