Default help with nforce 2 installtion on slackware 10.1

hello i am new here can any body help me with the installtion i have updated my kernel to 2.6.10 and installd the driver but for some reason ifconfig
dosent find eth0 or eth1 etc....
so i will be vary graetfull if you will help me

You have 2 options . You can either install the nForce driver from nVidia which has the nvnet driver but I didn't try that so don't know how/if it works or you can just build the "forcedeth" network driver into your kernel ( not as a module but directly into the kernel to make sure it works ) . I recommend the second version as it worked for me in Debian ( will try it in Slack 10.1 shortly ) . This should do it . Or maybe you could just modprobe "forcereth" if you have it built as a module now .
