Cool. I bet allstarshop is one of the first to get them as usual. Curious to see the price as well.

That is one BIG card. It looks bigger than a 6800 Ultra.

Yeah, it's kind of very long compared to the PCI-E-Version.

Yikes!! It is bigger than an ultra.

QUOTE:
Even on the photos above you can see that the card is longer. It should be noted that the PCB dimensions are even larger than in GeForce 6800 Ultra, which used to have the largest PCB among single-core video cards up to now. You should take it into account, if you plan on buying this card and you have a small PC case.
END QUOTE:

It would fit in my case, but the size is sure to squash the plans of a few.
It will be interesting to see prices.

It only supports sm 2.0b so it will support that. No built in functionality for 3.0 though.

The R520 should have SM3.0+ support

They should as the last sets of mid ranges cards matched the highend in core features... Now when it will ship to stores is another Qs

Probably not right away. After all, look how long after the X800 Pro has been on the market before ATI came out with the XL.

I'm waiting on the R520 and G70s already. As far as I'm concerned this generation has come to a close.
