a driver question

I have a leadtech 440 ti 128 megs, I found I get better frame rates running the game in open gl than direct 3d. My question is is? Is the 31.50 drivers better for open gl than the current 40.72's im using now for speed and tweaking and if thers a tweak program that will tweak the open gl.

i don't know which is better but rivatuner is a only tweak program you need

Thanks for the reply, I downloaded ot once but to be honest there wasnt a help file and I had no idea what to do with it. I have cool bits instaled to over clock and was wondering if there was a web site to get info on how to use it. It seems most people are using riva.
